About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Organ Health Specialist (OHS) to join our growing Organ Health sales team! In this role, you will drive revenue growth and market development within the nephrology and transplant markets by cultivating deep relationships, executing strategic business plans, and promoting the adoption of both existing and newly launched products. Your expertise and insights will play a critical role in advancing our mission to support healthcare providers with innovative diagnostic tools. As an Organ Health Specialist, you will promote and sell Renasight, our genetic test designed to identify potential genetic causes of kidney disease and assess hereditary risks based on family history. The test analyzes 385 genes associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD), providing valuable insights for patient care and management. This role requires an strategic salesperson who can navigate major academic institutions and large healthcare networks to challenge status-quo clinical behaviors and drive long-term habit change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educational background.
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive sales experience, ideally within the diagnostic, genetics, or lab-developed test (LDT) industry.
  • Pre-existing relationships within the Nephrology space are highly advantageous.
  • Proven track record navigating large academic medical systems and major regional networks; direct experience working with or selling into UNC Health, Duke Health, and Wake Forest Baptist Health is highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% within the Greensboro-to-Durham corridor to effectively manage accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Behavior & Habit Change: Educate and influence clinicians to shift their diagnostic habits, integrating advanced genetic testing into their standard protocols for chronic kidney disease (CKD) management.
  • Build & Leverage Strategic Relationships: Cultivate lasting, high-trust partnerships with nephrologists, transplant specialists, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the territory.
  • Navigate Major Health Systems: Penetrate and expand our footprint within large integrated delivery networks (IDNs) and prominent regional academic medical centers.
  • Exceed Sales Goals: Achieve and exceed performance targets through tailored territory management, effective consultative selling, and seamless execution of product launches.
  • Act as a Technical Expert: Serve as the local clinical and technology expert on our services, representing the company with high professionalism and deep diagnostic expertise.
