The Ordnance School Technical Instructor (Career Management Field (CMF) 89) will provide training for Ammunition Stock Control and Accounting Specialists (89A) and Ammunition Specialists (89B). This role involves delivering instruction through classroom sessions, laboratory work, discussions, demonstrations, and practical exercises, including computer-assisted and simulation/virtual training. Responsibilities include testing, planning, providing remedial assistance, and managing course administration. The instructor must adhere to the Program of Instruction, ensuring all tasks, conditions, and standards are met. When not actively instructing, the individual will engage in cross-training, instructional preparation, testing, and assisting in modules they are not yet certified to teach. The role also requires adherence to safety and security standards, reporting any discrepancies to the Government. Subject matter experts will contribute to revising and updating training materials to ensure doctrinal accuracy and alignment with current training strategies.
