About The Position

Orderlies perform cleaning, disinfecting, and materials-management support duties in the Surgical Department to help ensure safe and effective patient care in the Operating Room, Short Procedure Unit, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Sterile Processing Unit, and other assigned patient units. They also perform other direct and indirect patient-care duties throughout the organization for adult and geriatric patients as needed.

Requirements

• Housekeeping or supply/stocking experience in an operating room or surgical setting is required.
• Obtain BLS within 30 days of hire.

• Previous patient-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities
