In Room Dining is available in all 540 guest rooms & suites. Featuring signature gourmet dishes or hearty just-like-home selections. Perfect for our early-risers who crave breakfast in bed, romantic private dinners or small in-room gatherings. This role provides unique dining experiences to all guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast-paced environment. The Order Taker/F&B Cashier ensures a positive first impression of the dining outlet for guests, maintains complete knowledge of all F&B services, contents & preparation methods, outlets and hotel services/features. They are responsible for taking orders of all drinks and food requests from guests, up-selling and promoting food and beverage offers to maximize sales revenue, and assisting in setting up carts and trays when servers are in need. The role also involves ordering amenities on a timely basis, performing opening/closing side duties as assigned, and setting workstations according to standards and procedures. Additionally, the Order Taker/F&B Cashier will assist other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times or when required, apply necessary precautions with regards to hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP), be well-versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures, and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
