About The Position

The Order Shipper ON ensures that orders are prepared and shipped without errors, efficiently and in a timely manner for our customers. This role involves packing merchandise, adhering to health and safety standards, and participating in other duties such as inventory and reporting. The position requires excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or vocational training an asset.
• One year experience in a similar position an asset.
• Bilingual (French/English), depending on location.
• Having work boots would be essential.
• Forklift operator credentials would be an asset.
• Being able to do repetitive tasks.
• Able to work in an environment where the temperature varies.
• To have good physical endurance, being able to regularly move the goods that are 60 lbs. and over.

Responsibilities

• Pack merchandise: Apply invoices and shipping labels on merchandise. Collect and verify that all items and goods are included in the shipments. Prepare shipments and shipping orders for transport companies. Load, unload, sort and move the goods by hand or by using pallet. At the verification station, ensure that the documents correspond to the goods. Gather boxes of accessories from the warehouse store and ensure that they are placed with the right orders. Attach and wrap the products for shipping.
• Health & Safety: Be compliant with the standards and business procedures as well as enforcing the health and safety laws. Ensure that work areas and equipment are kept clean and organized at all times.
• Other: Participate in the annual inventory. Complete various reports.
