About The Position

The Order Selector supports daily Supply Chain Department operations by coordinating materials procurement, inventory control, and vendor communications. The role helps ensure materials and finished goods move efficiently and safely through the supply chain to meet production and customer delivery requirements while adhering to safety standards and OSHA compliance. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The position includes accurately picking and packaging orders; sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials; processing purchase orders and documentation; monitoring inventory and reconciling discrepancies; maintaining accurate records in ERP or inventory management systems; and collaborating across departments on supply chain planning and process improvements. It also requires safe forklift or high-reach lift operation, attention to product and packaging quality, and compliance with warehouse safety requirements. The work environment combines office and warehouse settings, with regular cross-departmental interaction and exposure to standard warehouse conditions.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in supply chain or related roles; manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WMS software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to safely operate a high-reach lift or forklift in compliance with OSHA standards.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. safely using proper techniques and equipment.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Pick and package orders accurately according to plant and customer requirements.
Oversee product and packaging quality to support consistency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Source, order, and track raw materials, supplies, and components.
Process purchase orders and related documentation.
Manage raw material levels and communicate needs to the Supply Chain Manager.
Monitor inventory and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Support inventory control procedures, cycle counts, and safety stock requirements.
Ensure inventory handling complies with OSHA and company safety regulations.
Participate in bi-annual plant inventories.
Maintain accurate and current records in ERP or inventory management systems.
Assist with forecasting and planning to support production and logistics.
Work with production, purchasing, sales, and customer service to align supply chain activities with organizational goals.
Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
Foster open communication across departments to promote a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
Follow OSHA regulations, company safety protocols, and proper PPE usage in warehouse and production areas.
Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement.
Immediately report unsafe conditions, near-misses, or potential hazards to management.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.
