About The Position

The Order Selector works in the Purchasing Department Food & Beverage Grocery Store to assist with shipping and receiving, maintaining grocery/beverage inventory and sanitation of the department.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 required.
• High school degree or GED required.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds is required.
• Dependable, hardworking, detail oriented and a team player.
• Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions is required.
• Must be able to repetitively stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stack, and walk.
• Ability to tolerate temperature-controlled areas.
• Ensure departmental sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills, relate well to others and be able to build and sustain effective work relationships is required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of basic inventory practices is helpful.
• Able to do minimal desk work is helpful.
• Intermediate computer and spread sheet knowledge are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for product integrity, load accuracy, safe transfer, and storage of all products in the department.
• Performs receiving and shipping duties; interacts with truck driver/delivery services.
• Stocks storeroom shelves and fills food and bar requisitions.
• Responsible for all departmental sanitation and organization.
• Ensures product quality and temperature storage standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of the purchasing team.
• Follow inventory control standards of the DAC Purchasing Department.
• Organization and sorting of returnable products.
• Other duties as assigned.
