About The Position
OmniMax International is seeking an Order Puller to handle warehouse and materials movement tasks in Sacramento. The role involves reading production and shipping documents, sorting and staging materials, operating forklifts, assembling customer orders, maintaining inventory records, and reporting equipment or material concerns. The position is full-time, hourly, and scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- High school diploma or better.
Responsibilities
- Read production schedules, customer, work, and shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to move, gather, or distribute.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Operate propane- and battery-powered two-way and four-way drive forklifts to load and unload, pick up, transport, and transfer work-in-process and finished products.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets or shelves, or convey them to the packing station and shipping department.
- Arrange stock parts in a specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
- Use computer systems to enter records, compile worksheets, and create tickets from customer specifications.
- Drive vehicles to transport stored items from the warehouse to the plant or collect items from multiple locations for shipment.
- Maintain inventory records, record shortages, and prepare location cards to forward to a supervisor.
- Detect and report faulty equipment, defective materials, shortages, questionable data, and other unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
- Perform additional responsibilities deemed necessary by leadership.
