About The Position

The Order Puller performs warehouse functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving warehouse stock. The position is located in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

The role involves unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, sorting and storing items according to organizational standards, and keeping the warehouse and work areas clean and orderly. Employees must follow safety rules and wear appropriate safety equipment.

The physical requirements include regularly handling and moving objects weighing 10–50 lbs., occasionally moving objects weighing more than 100 lbs., and regularly standing, walking, reaching, and performing other physical activities. Specific vision abilities are also required.

Requirements

• One to two years of warehouse-related experience in shipping and receiving.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
• Strictly observe all safety rules.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10–50 lbs.; occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing more than 100 lbs.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally sit and climb or balance.
• Have close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and the ability to adjust and focus.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Reach truck, Forklift, and Order Picker.
• Experience with Carbon Flanges and Fittings.
• Experience on a sit-down forklift, stand-up reach truck, or picker.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat; sweep, dust, and mop.
• Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all times.
