About The Position

The Order Processing Specialist accurately processes all customer and dealer orders in compliance with Teknion’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role is responsible for verifying purchase orders (POs) and supporting documentation, confirming financial requirements are met, and documenting order-related inquiries to ensure seamless, timely execution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, 2–4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer literate, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and standard email platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and excellent verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work overtime as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Process all orders accurately within established timelines based on specific order types.
  • Review Custom Request (CR) notes, line notes, and financial requirements prior to processing and releasing order.
  • Check exception reports thoroughly for every processed order.
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on purchase orders to third-party vendors for non-Teknion products.
  • Proactively resolve issues related to Special Quotes (SQs), CRs, or software to prevent processing delays.
  • Document order-related issues clearly by detailing the specific problem and providing guided solutions.
  • Conduct verbal follow-ups with dealers regarding outstanding issues by Day 2.
  • Escalate unresolved order issues to the Manager by Day 4.
  • Respond to manufacturing questions expeditiously to maintain production schedules.
  • Assist dealers with clean order submissions and required form completions, such as Direct Bill forms.
  • Execute assigned administrative reports and take necessary follow-up actions.
  • Maintain professional, courteous, and positive communication with customers, dealers, and internal teams.
  • Support a collaborative team environment by remaining mindful of team workloads.
  • Demonstrate accountability by taking immediate responsibility for identifying and resolving errors.
