About The Position

The Order Picker assembles products for individual orders and loads them onto trailers for shipment. The role is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and is on third shift. The employee must train for three weeks on first shift.

The Order Picker receives load packets and pick tickets from the load coordinator, distributes pick tickets to pickers, locates products using the Shop Floor system, and picks products using a forklift or high-lift while observing proper age dates. The employee scans products to orders, wraps pallets using an automated wrapping machine, completes required paperwork, and loads assigned trailers according to shipment-stop order and weight requirements. The role also requires safe work practices and adherence to food safety and housekeeping procedures.

Requirements

• Operate a high-lift or forklift safely.
• Demonstrate safe work practices.
• Pass certification to operate a high-lift or forklift.
• Safely lift 100 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Work in an environment of 28 degrees.
• Operate a scan gun, the Shop Floor system, and automatic wrapping machines.
• Understand the logistics of loading a trailer.

Responsibilities

• Receive load packets and pick tickets from the load coordinator.
• Distribute pick tickets to pickers.
• Use the Shop Floor system to locate products.
• Pick products using a forklift or high-lift, observing proper age dates.
• Scan picked products to the order.
• Wrap each pallet using an automated wrapping machine.
• Complete required paperwork, including tally sheets, seal tags, and Costco pallet reports.
• Load assigned trailers in shipment-stop order and in accordance with weight requirements.
• Work safely and follow food safety and housekeeping procedures.
