About The Position

The HIL - Order Picker plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our supply chain within the Forestry, Fishing, Hunting, and Livestock industry. This position is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time. The Order Picker will work closely with inventory management systems to track stock levels and report discrepancies, contributing to overall inventory accuracy. Additionally, this role involves maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Ultimately, the success of the Order Picker directly impacts customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking environment.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, which are essential for efficiently picking and packing orders.
• Attention to detail is crucial, as the Order Picker must ensure that the correct items are selected and prepared for shipment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems will aid in tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies, enhancing overall inventory accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Forklift operation will enable the Order Picker to handle larger items and navigate the warehouse safely.
