About The Position
L.K. Jordan is seeking experienced Order Pickers in Schertz, TX. This role is temp-to-perm and involves ensuring products reach their destinations, unloading delivery vehicles, receiving inventory, storing products, selecting and packing customer orders, and maintaining constant movement in various temperature conditions.
Requirements
- Able to perform physical requirements in a warehouse environment including lifting up to 75 lbs., cutting wire, climbing ladders and staying on the move in various temperatures, depending on the location
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (cherry picker, stand up, sit down), pallet jacks, RF Scanners, and proper use of PPE
- High School Diploma / GED
- Able to pass background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Ensure products get to where they need to be
- Unload delivery vehicles
- Receive inventory
- Store product in specific locations
- Select and pack customer orders
- Stay on the move in various temperatures
- Pull orders using a standard sit down lift
- Pull, band, and organize material for each order
- Maintain a clean warehouse
- Follow all safety procedures
- Perform daily safety inspections
