About The Position

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Order Picker is responsible for picking and scanning finished goods items for orders. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect. The work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish). The ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours, is required. Piping Rock Health Products is a drug-free workplace, regulated by the FDA, and requires successful completion of drug screening processes for employment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency preferred
1+ year experience in a warehouse environment
Flexibility for overtime when needed
Must be able to read/write English
Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely
Must comply with GMP requirements
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours

Responsibilities

Picking and scanning finished goods items for orders
Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
Other duties as assigned
Ensuring correct products are being scanned/picked for orders
Helping restock pick locations when needed
Housekeeping in the pick area
Participating in training of new order pickers
Ensuring Tablet and Scanner are returned to charge area at the end of the day
Ensuring safety regulations are followed in the warehouse
Complying with company policies and procedures and maintaining regular work attendance
