About The Position

This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correct in number, size, color, and type. The position involves transporting orders to shipping locations, reporting quality issues, and maintaining inventory accuracy using barcode scanning equipment. The Order Picker will also be responsible for unpacking received products, inspecting equipment, and operating a Stand Up Cherry Picker and reach truck.

Responsibilities

Ensure completeness and correctness of all orders filled
Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise and correct type of product is loaded and shipped
Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with Stand up Cherry Picker
Report quality issues on all products
Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage
Tag any open and/or damaged boxes on racks for safety
Use barcode scanning equipment to maintain computerized stock inventory
Unpack received products, count, weigh and/or sort items
Mark and/or tag containers with identifying information
Communicate problems with forklift, structures, or materials
Pick orders by reading pick tickets, move products to the shipping area and operate RF scanners during order picking
Inspect and complete the pre-shift inspection for the forklift
Operate Stand Up Cherry Picker and reach truck equipment to maneuver products within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assemble orders on pallet for shipment
Carry or transport orders to staging locations
