About The Position

As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for picking Job Orders in a timely fashion and help serve Production through the Picking Window for anything they might need. The ideal candidate should be well-organized, highly detailed-oriented, and demonstrates good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• At least 1 years of experience in stockroom, warehouse
• At least 1 year of computer experience and aptitude for ERP/ computer applications
• Able to lift and move up to 35lbs, frequent walking and standing for long periods, bending and reaching

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to prioritize and follow procedures
• Forklift experience would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull parts as directed and coordinate with Picking Lead for jobs released to Production.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked and organized on shelves in the stockroom.
• Restock parts efficiently and maintain stockroom documents as required.
• Use handheld tablet when picking parts, to ensure accuracy of the item picked.
• Communicate material issues to Inventory Specialist.
• Perform transactions, post material in System as required.
• Organize material and store material neatly.
• Perform cycle counts as need.
• Help to serve Production at the Window when required.
• Other duties as required.
• Able to lift up to 35lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%.
• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.
