About The Position

Taylor Corporation is seeking an experienced Order Picker for its Jeffersonville, Indiana facility. The role involves operating a turret truck to accurately pick and prepare customer orders while maintaining a safe, organized work area. The employee will receive training to operate a turret truck and must be able to work at heights up to 35 feet. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

The schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime and weekends as required. The anticipated pay is $17.00 per hour. The actual base pay may depend on qualifications, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, licenses, and location.

Requirements

• Experience using a ring scanner, manual equipment, and powered material-handling equipment, such as an order picker or lift.
• Willingness to train on and operate a turret truck.
• Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet.
• Ability to read, count accurately, and perform basic math.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while supporting department goals.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certifications required to operate powered equipment.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Regularly remain in a stationary position; constantly operate machinery and handle products, including printed materials; frequently move throughout the facility; regularly lift, push, pull, or carry 50 pounds or more.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders.
• Perform quality checks.
• Verify stock availability and stock shelves.
• Repackage orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records related to orders and inventory.
