About The Position

Taylor Warehouse & Distribution is seeking an Order Picker to join the team to support operations at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility. This role ensures the accuracy of picking customer orders, performs quality checks, and may operate materials handling equipment. The Order Picker will pick orders using manual equipment and powered material handling equipment, verify stock availability, repackage orders, and maintain a safe and clean work environment. Requirements

Must be able to use a ring scanner
Must be comfortable with heights up to 35'
Must be able to read and count accurately and do simple math
Detail oriented
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment where you maintain and enhance department goals
Effectively communicate and work in a team environment
Self-motivated and able to multi task
Ability to operate material handling equipment
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 50 + pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
