About The Position

Eaton is hiring an Order Picker for its Duncan, South Carolina distribution center. The role facilitates material movement throughout the center by receiving, restocking, picking, packing, and shipping materials so the site can process customer orders. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; overtime may extend the shift and may be mandatory. The stated hourly rate is $23.00, including a $1.25 shift premium.

The position involves operating reach trucks and order pickers, retrieving and replenishing warehouse materials, inspecting and verifying products and counts, preparing shipments, and resolving order discrepancies. It also requires following safety and company procedures, maintaining good housekeeping, and being able to work at heights and perform physical tasks such as lifting and repetitive bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED. Eaton is not offering relocation benefits and will consider candidates within 50 miles of Duncan, SC, with an exemption for active-duty military service members. Eaton does not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks and order pickers to retrieve the appropriate styles and quantities of material from warehouse locations using the appropriate picking process.
• Place materials in containers, visually inspect products, verify them with scanning equipment when required, and confirm product counts.
• Restock and replenish materials using the same inspection, scanning, and count-verification processes.
• Unload and stage material pallets in designated shipping areas.
• Use packing slips to generate print move tickets, break down and sort material, verify counts, and restock warehouse locations using LXE computers to scan materials, styles, and locations.
• Verify picked styles and quantities, inspect products, scan them, and place them in shipping cartons with packing materials to reduce the risk of damage.
• Place packing lists, content labels, and shipping labels on packages as appropriate.
• Verify styles and quantities, divert materials to shrink-wrap or shipping lanes, generate shipping labels, and load shipments onto designated carriers.
• Research and resolve discrepancies to ensure orders are accurate.
• Maintain quality workmanship, follow safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal or lower classification when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
