Order Picker 1st Shift (7:00am-3:00pm Mon-Friday) Up to $24/hr
About The Position
The Order Picker is responsible for reading and analyzing orders, selecting finished goods, staging them for packaging, and updating the ERP system. This role involves communicating any issues with order fulfillment or product shortages to the Supervisor or Team Lead. The position is part of the Shipping department and reports to the Shipping Supervisor. The company, Havis, is a technology-driven organization focused on mobility solutions for various industries. Requirements
- Able to read and interpret quality documents
- Able to apply common sense reasoning to carry out instructions
- Able to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Employee must regularly be able to lift and move up to 50lbs
- Employee must occasionally be able to lift and move up to 100lbs
- Able to tolerate long periods of standing
Responsibilities
- Read and analyze the order to be fulfilled
- Select finished goods as noted on each sales order and stage for packaging
- Mark the order as complete and update order notes in ERP
- Inform the Supervisor or Team Lead when there are issues with order fulfillment or product shortages
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead
