About The Position

Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a 1st Shift Shipping Clerk to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility! This role involves performing quality control, checking in orders, aggregating and packaging orders for shipping, and utilizing PC-based systems for documentation. The position requires attention to detail, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 25lbs. The shift is Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime as required, including some weekends. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet set deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer knowledge required
Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility

Nice To Haves

Experience in Pick/Packing
Experience with UPS and FedEx software

Responsibilities

Perform quality control review of each order
Check-in orders
Aggregate and package/prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers
Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels
Maintain a clean working environment and maintain equipment needed to ship orders timely
Follow safety requirements for the position
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment
Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
Completes shipping reports
