Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of customer service experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Three (3) years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Experience researching, reviewing, and interpreting documentation to support customer orders or service eligibility determinations.
  • Experience communicating with customers, patients, healthcare providers, or third-party payers regarding service requirements and financial responsibilities.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) or more years of healthcare, medical billing, reimbursement, insurance verification, or related healthcare support experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Experience working with insurance payer requirements and healthcare documentation.
  • Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting patients requiring complex or time-sensitive healthcare services.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment while maintaining high productivity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing incoming new orders and backlog orders to determine qualification for insurance billing requirements.
  • Collaborating with internal sales teams, customer service representatives, hospital partners, customers, and patients to obtain required documentation and support order fulfillment.
  • Providing professional customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Researching and interpreting payer requirements and clinical documentation to determine patient eligibility for services.
  • Communicating patient financial responsibilities and resolving complex order-related issues while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Complying with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
