About The Position

This is a Working Lead position within the Order Fulfillment Department, providing direction and leadership to team members. The role ensures that staff are properly trained and adhere to established procedures for specific tasks. A key responsibility is the effective distribution of the workforce to maximize productivity, maintain quality standards, and meet deadlines. The lead will also ensure that any additional tasks or priorities assigned on a day-to-day basis are completed as directed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Effect oral and written communication skills; must be able to read, write and understand English.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Ability to prioritize.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

Nice To Haves

One year previous warehouse supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Experience in MS Office, PKMS, Oracle and Business Objects a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for training team members and ensures company policies and work instructions are being properly followed.
Provide team members with the necessary tools and information to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Communicate to team members daily goals and cover any specific instructions and/or information given by management.
Properly distribute and/or redistribute workforce to maintain required levels of productivity and quality.
Communicates with other leads, supervisors and/or managers to share resources as needed to ensure the shift’s success.
Advise management of problems that may adversely affect the timely completion of tasks.
Timely communicate and follow-up with various departments using Microsoft Outlook/email.
Ensure that all additional tasks and/or priorities assigned on a day to day “as needed” basis are completed in accordance with direction given.
Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001 and 14001, understand and fully support ISO system.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Understand and follow all company rules and regulations.
Perform all other duties as assigned or required.
