Order fulfillment Associate Full Time
About The Position
The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse and order-picking activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, scanning and verifying items, moving merchandise to a staging area, and operating equipment. The role supports BJ’s digital fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club (SFC), and is responsible for meeting order service-level agreements, productivity metrics, and deadlines. The associate helps maintain a safe, clean, and organized OMNI/SFC work area; packages orders according to standard procedures; communicates inventory, equipment, and replenishment issues; handles returns, damaged goods, and spoiled products; and follows club policies, procedures, and dress code standards. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments.
Requirements

- Ability to continuously lift objects up to 30 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.

Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and counts.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations using the scanner.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems and report expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
- Coordinate merchandise replenishment with the club team and, when possible, have items pulled from reserve areas to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
- Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, and performance metrics.
- Follow operational processes and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
- Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
- Keep the SFC area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard.
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including via DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
- Deliver friendly, courteous service, address member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Work collaboratively to maintain club and GOLD standards, including an organized OMNI space and clean, maintained storage bins.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
