About The Position

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Order Fulfillment Associate to perform general warehouse activities. This role involves pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving it to a staging area, using a handheld scanner to verify counts and update locations, and operating equipment. The Omni Experience Ambassador will also be involved in digital initiatives such as BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Members are to be provided with excellent service through all points of contact, with concerns resolved and deescalated. A daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate; Fast, Friendly Full, Fresh, Clean) and GOLD Club Standards is expected, including maintaining a clean and organized OMNI Space, properly storing and cleaning bins, and understanding departmental performance reporting.

Requirements

• Previous order pulling experience preferred.
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes member purchases by pulling merchandise from a pick list.
• Utilizes a handheld scanner device (RF) to pick orders from the sales floor and verify merchandise.
• Moves merchandise from sales floor to staging area.
• Communicates problems with inventory and/or equipment, and expired or short-dated items.
• Communicates with the club team when merchandise needs to be replenished.
• Works with the team to have merchandise pulled from the reserve area to avoid sales floor replenishment.
• Ensures all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet all productivity requirements.
• Works with a high level of urgency to ensure deadlines are met, including key performance indicators.
• Follows operational efficiencies, processes, and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Takes responsibility for individual performance and works with club leadership on performance metrics.
• Securely packages the order in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Ensures the SFC area is neat, clean, and organized.
• Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area.
• Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Processes returns to the club and determines how to handle them.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures, including adhering to proper dress code standards.
• Meets OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintains regular, predictable, full attendance, which is an essential function of the job.
