About The Position

The Order Fulfillment and Transportation Supervisor supports the Order Fulfillment and Transportation Manager in overseeing daily operations related to warehousing, order fulfillment, and transportation of cannabis products. This role is responsible for coordinating the secure, compliant, and efficient delivery of products between licensed facilities and to retail or wholesale customers. Key responsibilities include supervising the vault team in picking and preparing packages, assisting drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, and maintaining operational compliance with state and company regulations. The Supervisor also monitors employee time and attendance, ensuring workforce efficiency and adherence to schedules.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of METRC and Biotrack software
  • Must be at least 25 years old, able to pass a background check, and have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must have minimum of high school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 3+ years of customer service experience with responsibility for order tracking, problem resolution and customer interface preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, GPS systems, and mobile communication tools.
  • Full knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements to always keep the facility at 100% compliance, this includes being up to date on any changes to current applicable laws/regulations
  • Must be and remain compliant with all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation
  • Prior experience in cannabis logistics or secured transport, including knowledge of METRC or similar track-and-trace systems.

Responsibilities

  • Complete and maintain all required transportation documentation, including manifests and METRC compliance packages.
  • Maintain daily communication with drivers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all deliveries.
  • Oversee execution of local and statewide deliveries, ensuring all routes are completed on schedule; most deliveries require same day return to the facility.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of driver routes, accommodations, and schedules as needed.
  • Perform regular digital inventory audits to verify recordkeeping accuracy, ensure compliance, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with state and local cannabis regulations by auditing and verifying METRC inventory data.
  • Serve as a key communication point between external customers, internal departments, and the sales team regarding order and delivery status.
  • Manage daily order fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, and preparation of products within the vault.
  • Coordinate transportation logistics, ensuring drivers have accurate routing, manifests, and compliance documentation.
  • Supervise fulfillment and transportation staff, providing daily direction, performance feedback, and support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to deliveries, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and manage employee time, attendance, and scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all transportation and fulfillment activities are executed in accordance with state, local, and internal company regulations and SOPs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, inventory control, compliance, and sales departments to ensure smooth execution of order and delivery processes.
  • Updating internal systems to communicate changing statuses of completed orders, deliveries, schedules, etc.
  • Responsible for reading and understanding all state and company policies regarding inventory control and audits.
  • Pull stock, sticker containers, build and bin orders, and close all work orders with great accuracy and efficiency.
  • Quality assurance that all finished goods that are to be sent out ensure 100% compliance with orders.
  • Capture all necessary signatures to properly complete paperwork.
  • Accurate recording and reporting of daily transaction.
