About The Position

The Backend Order Execution Specialist- Medium Voltage drives Service is responsible for managing the execution of customer and intercompany service orders for Medium Voltage Drives products and services. The role serves as the primary coordinator between customers, supply chain, production, engineering, warehouse operations, and project teams to ensure accurate order processing and on-time delivery. The work model for the role is: hybrid in New Berlin, WI. This role is contributing to the Motion Service Division.

Requirements

Experience in order management, customer operations, supply chain, logistics, project coordination, or a related operational role
Experience processing and managing customer orders within an ERP system such as SAP
Experience coordinating activities across multiple functions, including customers, sales, supply chain, production, logistics, and project teams
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Ability to analyze order, shipment, and customer data to support operational decision-making
Experience managing customer requests, escalations, or case management activities

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), or related SAP modules
Experience using Salesforce or a similar customer relationship management (CRM) system
Experience supporting industrial equipment, electrical products, automation systems, or power equipment
Knowledge of order fulfillment, inventory management, transportation, and logistics processes
Experience maintaining SAP master data, product master data, or bill of material (BOM/BOL) data
Experience working with global manufacturing, supply chain, or service organizations
Familiarity with KPI reporting and operational performance metrics
Experience participating in continuous improvement or process standardization initiatives

Responsibilities

Manage End-to-End Order Execution Process and maintain sales orders while ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer requirements.
Serve as Primary Customer and Sales Unit Contact: Coordinate with customers and ABB Front-End Units regarding order status, delivery commitments, lead times, and issue resolution.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Operations: Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, and Project Management teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of orders.
Manage Customer Cases and Escalations: Own Salesforce case management, resolve customer inquiries, and drive timely resolution of delivery, material, and execution issues.
Support Operational Excellence: Maintain data accuracy and support process improvements, including opportunities to assume ownership of SAP master data, BOL master data, and other backend operational processes.
