Requirements

• Associate’s degree (minimum)
• Previous experience in a customer service/order coordination/scheduling position
• Detailed oriented and accurate
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Gmail
• High-paced self-motivator who promotes teamwork among co-workers
• Able to multi-task such as simultaneously using telephone and computer skills
• General knowledge of basic mathematical computations
• Ability to sit for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Epicor Prophet 21 or similar ERP software programs
• Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM

Responsibilities

• Reviews orders for accuracy and completion
• Enters all sales orders from customer PO’s, RFQ’s and Application Engineers into our ERP system
• Places orders with vendors to purchase customer orders
• Computes prices, shipping costs, and any appropriate discounts
• Handle inbound calls from customers, vendors, and sales personnel
• Provides sales quotes to customers from vendor-provided resources
• Determines the appropriate timing of orders to ensure timely delivery and cost savings
• Verifies and updates customer information
• Checks customer accounts for credit and outstanding payments
• Informs customers and/or sales team of shipping date and any possible delays
• Electronically files copies of all orders received
• Adheres to productivity standards to ensure all orders are handled in a timely and efficient manner
