About The Position
Order Builders work in a fast-paced warehouse environment fulfilling customer orders and preparing them for delivery. The role involves building accurate orders from pick and load tickets, using industrial power equipment, and preparing completed pallets for delivery trucks. The position is based at the Dallas (Buckner) location and is scheduled five days a week, from 7:00 AM until finished.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of general work experience.
- Repetitively lift, carry, and position product weighing up to 50 pounds, including above shoulder height, without assistance.
- Consistently kneel, squat, and reach above the head.
- Push and pull manual and powered equipment containing product loads for at least 100 yards without assistance.
- Repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Read information in small, medium, and large print.
- Stand and walk for long periods of time.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks.
- Prior warehouse experience.
Responsibilities
- Pull orders based on pick tickets and accurately build them for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment.
- Manually lift and move product to restock and repack, ensuring date-code accuracy and proper rotation.
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
- Meet productivity requirements.
- Stage completed pallets in the designated area.
