About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Orbital Welder to perform high-quality orbital and precision welding on commercial piping systems, tubing, and related components. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret welding drawings and specifications, and a commitment to producing consistent, code-compliant welds while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements
- Four years of experience in TIG/GTAW welding.
- Ability to read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, weld maps, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with ASME, AWS, or other applicable welding standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain orbital welding equipment and associated tooling.
- Perform precision GTAW (TIG) orbital welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and other applicable materials.
- Prepare, fit, align, clean, and inspect pipe and tube prior to welding.
- Follow welding procedures, weld maps, drawings, specifications, and job requirements.
