About The Position

This position is responsible for the joining of metal components together using orbital weld techniques to fabricate or repair products such as machined parts, fabrications, and tubular assemblies. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Welding certifications based upon business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate orbital welding systems according to procedures
• Perform automated orbital welds on various materials
• Assesses welds for conformance to visual and dimensional requirements.
• Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding
