About The Position

Granite State Oral Surgery is seeking a skilled and motivated Oral Surgery Technician to support our surgeons and deliver an exceptional patient experience. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in both clinical efficiency and patient care—assisting during procedures, supporting patients through their surgical journey, and ensuring a safe, organized clinical environment.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of dental assisting or oral surgery experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic clinical setting
  • Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Radiology Certification
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • NH OPLC Medical Technician License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination & titer
  • TB test/clearance

Responsibilities

  • Assist the surgeon during consultations and surgical procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and equipment are ready
  • Monitor patients during anesthesia procedures and take vital signs
  • Ensure all consent forms and treatment plans are complete and accurate
  • Guide patients through pre-operative and post-operative instructions
  • Obtain and track medical clearances as needed
  • Deliver a high level of compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Follow OSHA, infection control, and radiation safety protocols
  • Capture high-quality radiographs using proper techniques and positioning
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and charting
  • Ensure proper documentation in compliance with practice standards
  • Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
  • Ensure all tools are functioning and procedure-ready
  • Build positive relationships with patients and team members
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts
