About The Position

Heritage Oral Surgery & Implant Centers is seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join its established multi-location specialty practice serving Valencia, Canoga Park, Palmdale, and the surrounding Southern California communities. The practice is led by experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeons Dr. R. Dean Lang, Dr. Brent J. Ramsey, and Dr. Matthew S. Doan. Together, the team provides a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery while maintaining a strong commitment to clinical excellence, advanced technology, patient comfort, and collaborative care. This opportunity is ideal for an oral surgeon who values clinical autonomy, a diverse surgical scope, established referral relationships, and the support of an experienced multi-doctor and multi-location practice. Heritage Oral Surgery & Implant Centers provides a comprehensive range of oral and maxillofacial surgery services, including: Dental implant placement, All-on-4 and full-arch implant treatment, Bone grafting, Wisdom tooth removal, Micro-incisional dentoalveolar surgery, Surgical orthodontics, Exposure and treatment of impacted teeth, Oral pathology evaluation and biopsy, Corrective jaw surgery, Facial trauma and fracture treatment, Diagnosis and treatment of facial pain and TMJ concerns, Sedation and anesthesia services. The practice is recognized for its use of Micro-Incisional Dento-Alveolar Surgical techniques, or MIDAS, designed to reduce surgical time and support a more comfortable postoperative recovery. Its doctors also use digital imaging, convenient 3D scanning, and comprehensive sedation options to support accurate diagnosis, efficient treatment planning, and excellent clinical outcomes. Doctors are supported by experienced clinical and administrative teams across three established offices in Valencia, Canoga Park, and Palmdale. The practice serves communities throughout the San Fernando Valley, Antelope Valley, and Santa Clarita Valley.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program
  • Eligibility for dental licensure in California
  • Strong clinical judgment and surgical skills
  • Experience with dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, and anesthesia
  • A commitment to ethical, evidence-based care
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • An interest in developing lasting relationships with referring doctors
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

  • Provide a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery services.
  • Perform dental implant placement.
