About The Position

Gentle Dental is seeking an Oral Surgeon to join their Southern California team, supporting patients at their Chula Vista practice one day per month. This role offers flexibility with options for both W-2 employment and 1099 independent contractor arrangements. The position is ideal for an Oral Surgeon looking to add a consistent monthly day to their schedule while working with an established dental team. The group-practice model at Gentle Dental is designed to provide clinicians with clinical autonomy, operational support, and collaboration, allowing them to focus on patient care. The Oral Surgeon will help expand access to specialty care in the Chula Vista community.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Oral Surgery Residency program
Graduate of an accredited dental school
Active California dental license or ability to obtain one by the start of employment
Required professional licenses and certifications, including CPR, DEA, and NPI

Responsibilities

Provide oral surgery services one day per month at the Gentle Dental Chula Vista practice.
Build a relationship with an established dental team.
Expand access to specialty care for patients in the community.
Practice with clinical autonomy and patient-centered treatment.
