About The Position

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization to recruit a PRN Oral Surgeon. This role is for an affiliated professional care team in Fort Myers, FL. The organization specializes in restorative and exodontia dental procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. This position offers an opportunity to practice in a collaborative ASC environment focused on exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Licensed Oral Surgeon with appropriate state licensure
• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• National Board certification strongly preferred
• Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models preferred
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and professionalism
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide oral surgical care in a fast-paced ASC environment
• Work alongside the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
• Coordinate care with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members
