About The Position

We're looking for a "player-coach" to take ownership of a brand new, mission-critical Oracle Cloud environment. You'll be the go-to expert for all things Oracle Fusion and integrations, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on support to ensure the stability and success of the platform. This is a chance to make a significant impact, working directly with leadership and a talented team to shape the future of our client's financial systems. Be the "boots on the ground" for the Oracle ecosystem. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day health of the platform, from troubleshooting integration issues to enhancing VBCS forms. You're not just a manager; you're a doer who isn't afraid to get your hands dirty to solve a problem. Bridge the gap between business and technology. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. You're a "techno-functional" expert who can speak both languages fluently. Own the technical roadmap. You'll provide strategic direction for the Oracle platform, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving continuous innovation. You'll have a seat at the table, helping to shape the long-term vision for the company's financial systems. Mentor and lead. You'll have the opportunity to build and mentor a team, sharing your expertise and helping to grow the next generation of Oracle talent.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
  • 5+ years leading Oracle ERP (Fusion and/or EBS) implementations and support functions.
  • Proven success leading enterprise ERP transformations from implementation through stabilization.
  • Experience establishing Master Data Management (MDM) programs and governance frameworks.
  • Experience implementing Oracle Analytics solutions.
  • Demonstrated success managing managed service providers and SLA performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Oracle Fusion support, enhancement, and optimization initiatives.
  • Maintain standards across Oracle Fusion ERP and associated financial applications, with a primary focus on the core ORacle Cloud Financial Modules
  • Serve as the key liaison between IT, Finance, business stakeholders, vendors, and managed service partners.
  • Ensure alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives and financial processes.
  • Lead post-implementation enhancement projects, ensuring that milestones, timelines, and quality standards are achieved for all system improvements.
  • Partner with internal teams and managed service providers to validate and deploy enhancements to existing integrations and applications.
  • Ensure the continued accuracy and integrity of data and the alignment of business processes with the Oracle Cloud system
  • Support ongoing user adoption and readiness efforts by providing training and support for new features and functionality
  • Lead the support and enhancement of existing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance existing applications built in Oracle VBCS
  • Utilize Oracle Fusion REST and SOAP APIs to integrate enterprise systems.
  • Monitor integration performance, custom objects, and system stability.
  • Manage user access, security, permissions, and SaaS/PaaS environments.
  • Oversee environment configurations, performance optimization, and refresh activities.
  • Lead post-implementation stabilization efforts and operational support.
  • Establish incident management, escalation procedures, and service governance.
  • Collaborate with managed service providers to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Drive ongoing platform enhancements based on business needs and user feedback.
  • Manage strategic relationships with Oracle support partners and service providers.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for operational performance and service quality.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, budgets, and performance management activities.
  • Lead training, communication, and adoption initiatives across business functions.
  • Partner closely with Finance leadership, accounting teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to improve business processes, workflows, and system utilization.
