About The Position

MANTECH International Corporation is seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Oracle Software Engineer to join its team. This is a fully remote position focused on maintaining the Reporting Instance (RI) database and supporting mission-critical enterprise applications. The engineer will develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL applications and database objects, work with Unix scripts, support Oracle Cloud migrations, coordinate database changes with the software development team, and maintain database dependencies and refresh processes. Candidates must hold an active Security+ CE certification or be able to obtain it within 90 days of hire. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain public trust clearance suitability.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10 or more years of relevant software engineering experience.
Experience developing and maintaining applications using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle database objects, such as procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
Experience with Unix.
Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain public trust clearance suitability.

Understanding of EBS HCM functionality.
Strong understanding of Oracle and Unix programming.

Responsibilities

Maintain the Reporting Instance (RI) database.
Write complex queries, subqueries, and joins, and develop advanced PL/SQL including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and custom type definitions.
Use Unix and modify or create Unix scripts.
Participate in Oracle Cloud migrations and mitigate identified issues.
Coordinate Reporting Instance database changes with software development team members.
Maintain RI-related dependencies and daily refresh processes.
Prevent database bottlenecks and ensure rapid response times for mission-critical enterprise applications.
