Requirements

Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
10+ years relevant experience in software engineering
Experience with developing and maintaining applications using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle database objects, such as procedures, functions, triggers and packages.
Experience in UNIX
Must have COMPTIA Sec+ certification
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain public trust clearance suitability

Nice To Haves

Strong understanding and knowledge of Air Force Human Resource process
Understanding of EBS HCM functionality
Strong understanding of Oracle and Unix Programming

Responsibilities

Maintain Reporting Instance (RI) Database
Mastery of writing complex queries, subqueries, joins, advanced PL/SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and custom type definitions.
Mastery of Unix knowledge and ability to modify and create Unix scripts.
Participate in Oracle Cloud migrations and mitigate issues identified.
Work with members of the software development team to coordinate Reporting Instance (RI) Database changes.
Maintain RI related dependencies and daily Refresh processes.
Prevent database bottlenecks and ensures rapid response times for mission-critical enterprise applications.
