About The Position

Net2Source Inc. is seeking an experienced Oracle SCM Inventory & Costing Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) Inventory and Cost Management modules. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to understand inventory, valuation, and costing processes and translate them into effective Oracle solutions that ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong functional expertise in inventory management and cost accounting within Oracle environments and experience supporting end-to-end supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle SCM Inventory and Costing modules.
  • Strong functional knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle SCM Cloud (Inventory Management & Cost Management) or Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Understanding of supply chain transactions and their financial impact.
  • Experience with period close, reconciliations, and inventory valuation reporting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle Manufacturing, BOM, Work in Process (WIP), Purchasing, or Order Management.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA).
  • Experience in Oracle SCM Cloud implementations or upgrades.
  • Oracle SCM or Cost Management certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements related to inventory management, costing, and valuation.
  • Design and configure Oracle SCM Inventory and Cost Management modules to support business processes.
  • Define inventory organizations, subinventories, locators, costing methods, and valuation structures.
  • Configure and support inventory transactions including receipts, issues, transfers, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
  • Enable and optimize inventory controls, replenishment, and material movement processes.
  • Support lot and serial number control, inventory reservations, and picking rules.
  • Configure costing methods such as Standard, Average, and Actual costing (as applicable).
  • Define cost elements, cost structures, and overheads.
  • Support inventory valuation, cost rollups, period close processes, and reconciliation with General Ledger.
  • Analyze cost variances and support cost accounting and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Order Management, Finance, and WMS teams to ensure seamless process integration.
  • Support integrations between Oracle SCM and Financials, including subledger accounting and GL reconciliation.
  • Work closely with technical teams on data migration, reports, extensions, and integrations.
  • Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
  • Lead or support system testing (unit, system, UAT) and production deployments.
  • Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Develop user documentation and conduct end-user training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements related to inventory and costing.
