Technical Lead - Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM

SC&HBaltimore, MD
$170,000 - $190,000

About The Position

SC&H's Enterprise Advisory & Transformation practice helps organizations optimize existing systems, implement modern solutions, and modernize IT infrastructure including full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP, SCM, HCM, and EPM implementations delivered through our CloudVista methodology. The practice is seeking a Technical Lead - Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM who will own the technical backbone of a major Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/SCM implementation managing and participating in integrations, data conversion, reporting, extensions, and environments. You'll translate functional designs into a coherent technical architecture, lead a team of developers, and be the person who makes sure the technology is never the reason the project slips.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Oracle technical experience, with at least 2 full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud (Fusion) implementations as a technical lead or senior technical consultant.
  • Hands-on expertise with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC): REST/SOAP adapters, file-based integrations, orchestration patterns, and error handling frameworks.
  • Deep experience with FBDI-based data conversion across ERP and SCM data domains (suppliers, items, on-hand inventory, open POs/SOs, GL balances, open AP/AR).
  • Strong reporting toolkit: OTBI subject areas, BI Publisher data models and templates, and SQL.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud security architecture: roles, data access sets, and provisioning.
  • Proven ability to lead and quality-check the work of onshore/offshore development teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with VBCS, APEX, or Oracle PaaS extensions for gaps that configuration can't close.
  • Oracle Cloud technical certifications (OIC, ERP, or SCM).
  • Exposure to SCM-heavy integration landscapes: WMS, MES, 3PL, EDI (850/855/856/810), and shop-floor systems.
  • Familiarity with Oracle AI capabilities (AI Agent Studio, embedded ML features) and where they add real value.
  • Prior consulting experience with client-facing design workshop facilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture, including the RICEFW (Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Worflows) inventory and technical design standards.
  • Design and oversee integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) connecting Oracle Cloud to warehouse management, transportation, banking, tax, EDI, and legacy systems.
  • Perform technical work for RICEFW items.
  • Own the data conversion strategy and execution using FBDI and ADFdi. Extract, transform, load, validate, and reconcile across multiple mock conversion cycles.
  • Lead development of reports and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Smart View, aligned to business KPIs.
  • Manage environments and release strategy: instance planning, refresh schedules, and coordination with Oracle quarterly updates.
  • Design role-based security and manage the segregation-of-duties model in partnership with functional leads.
  • Run technical design reviews and code reviews; hold developers to documented standards and reusable patterns.
  • Estimate technical work, sequence the build plan, and report progress, risks, and blockers to the Sr. Project Manager.
  • Support SIT, UAT, and performance testing with defect triage and root-cause analysis; own technical cutover tasks at go-live.

Benefits

  • Real equity ownership for every colleague with at least 1 year of service.
  • Comprehensive health plan with multiple options.
  • At least 4 weeks of paid time off.
  • 8 firm-paid holidays.
  • 401k with employer match.
  • Annual firm trip for you and a guest to an all-inclusive tropical location.
