About The Position

A Lead Technical Consultant at Argano is a senior member of the Technical Consulting team with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and SCM solutions delivered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). This role is responsible for leading and managing mid to large-scale enterprise transformation programs leveraging Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP/SCM) and associated Platform services. This individual provides technical leadership across the entire solution lifecycle, including integration architecture, SaaS extension strategy, data architecture, and enterprise integrations. The Lead Technical Consultant plays a key role in designing and delivering cloud-native, API-first, and event-driven solutions using Oracle technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), OCI services, and Fusion extensibility frameworks. The role requires hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud SaaS integrations, data flows, reporting, and extensibility, along with the ability to guide clients through continuous innovation in Oracle’s quarterly SaaS release model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
  • Relevant coursework or certifications in programming or software development.
  • 8+ years of experience delivering Oracle ERP solutions, with strong focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/SCM SaaS.
  • 5 - 10 years of technical consultant experience for IT companies or in related field.
  • Proven experience in multiple full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations (ERP and/or SCM).
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and SCM modules (Financials, Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, Planning).
  • Strong experience with: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP Web Services, Event-based integrations, FBDI, BICC data frameworks.
  • Experience designing API-first and event-driven integration architectures.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns for real-time, asynchronous, and batch processing.
  • Experience extending Oracle SaaS using: OCI services, Visual Builder / low-code tools, PaaS capabilities.
  • Understanding of upgrade-safe customization and extension strategies.
  • Experience with: BI Publisher, OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud security model, roles, and data access controls.
  • Familiarity with identity integration (IDCS, SSO, Active Directory).
  • Experience with modern integration and scripting technologies.
  • Knowledge of database concepts and Oracle Cloud data structures.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices for cloud delivery.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud SaaS release cycles and release management processes.
  • Experience with global implementations and multi-entity deployments.
  • Proven leadership in managing distributed delivery teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or PhD in computer science or software engineering preferred.
  • Exposure to Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage mid to large-scale Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM implementation and integration projects.
  • Provide technical leadership across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Supply Chain Management (SCM) initiatives.
  • Design and deliver cloud-native architectures aligned with Oracle SaaS best practices and standards (adopt-over-customize).
  • Lead solution design for: Integrations (REST APIs, events, FBDI, BICC, OIC), Data migration and reconciliation, Reporting and analytics (OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI where applicable).
  • Architect and implement SaaS extensions using PaaS/OCI services, ensuring upgrade-safe designs aligned with Oracle’s quarterly cloud updates.
  • Define and enforce integration strategy using API-first and event-driven architecture principles.
  • Develop and oversee proof-of-concepts, accelerators, and reusable integration frameworks.
  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for scalability, performance, security, and compliance.
  • Lead technical governance to ensure adherence to Oracle Cloud architecture, security, and release management practices.
  • Support continuous innovation adoption, including Redwood UX, AI-driven features, and new capabilities introduced through quarterly releases.
  • Collaborate with functional and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Mentor and coach technical consultants and developers across Oracle Cloud technologies.
  • Stay current with emerging Oracle Cloud capabilities, including: Embedded AI/GenAI features in ERP/SCM, Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), OCI-native services and integrations.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to business and executive stakeholders.
  • Participate in solutioning, pre-sales support, and technology roadmap development aligned with Argano’s strategy.
