About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PPM Functional Consultant to configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle Project Portfolio Management for IT project planning and execution. The role requires hands-on expertise in project setup, resource management, and integration with tools such as Jira to enable end-to-end visibility across the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PPM Cloud or Oracle Project Portfolio Management (on-premise/cloud).
  • Demonstrated experience configuring Oracle PPM for IT project planning — including project setup, WBS, resource pools, and financial plans.
  • Experience integrating Oracle PPM with Jira or similar project execution tools via REST APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), or native connectors.
  • Strong understanding of IT project lifecycle and PMO frameworks (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent preferred).
  • Proficiency in Oracle PPM reporting, OTBI, and BI Publisher for custom report development.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with project managers, finance teams, and IT operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle Cloud Fusion certifications in Project Management or related modules.
  • Experience with Agile delivery models and hybrid project frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for building and managing PPM integrations.
  • Prior experience in a BPO, consulting, or shared-services environment supporting multiple business units.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Oracle PPM modules — Project Management, Resource Management, Project Costing, and Budgeting — to support IT project planning needs.
  • Define and set up project templates, work breakdown structures (WBS), task hierarchies, milestones, and project classifications aligned to organizational standards.
  • Manage end-to-end integration between Oracle PPM and Jira (and other internal tools) to synchronize project data, task status, and resource assignments for seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with PMO and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into PPM configurations, and validate solutions through UAT.
  • Monitor data integrity across integrated systems; troubleshoot sync issues, mismatches, and workflow failures.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports in Oracle PPM for portfolio health, resource utilization, budget tracking, and milestone adherence.
  • Define and enforce governance standards for project creation, naming conventions, status updates, and time-entry processes within Oracle PPM.

Benefits

  • In the US, the target base salary for this role is $140- $150K. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors
