About The Position

Accenture's Oracle practice is seeking a talented and highly motivated senior-level resource with at least 15 years of experience in delivering and selling consulting and technology services. This role involves acting as the Delivery Lead on Oracle HCM implementation projects, providing direction as the subject matter expert. The Oracle HCM Delivery Lead will guide project team members throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling functional and technical development activities with the Cloud Implementation Project Manager, identifying new business opportunities to grow the HCM practice, and supporting business development efforts. The role requires an executive presence, existing relationships with client CxO and SVP-level positions at Canadian companies, and experience in originating and closing new sales opportunities. The ideal candidate can demonstrate presentation skills and storytelling abilities, manage and mentor resources, and guide clients through digital transformations to find operational efficiency and new revenue streams. Requirements

  • At least 15 years of experience delivering and selling consulting and technology services.
  • Talented and highly motivated senior level resource.
  • Problem-solver with the keen ability to diagnose a client’s unique needs.
  • Ability to see the gap between where clients are and where they need to be with Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Executive presence and existing relationships with client CxO and other SVP level positions at Canadian companies.
  • Experience in delivering complex solutions for large clients on Oracle technologies in a Delivery Executive / Delivery Lead capacity.
  • Must have worked in Global Delivery model leveraging onshore and offshore workforces.
  • Business Process acumen required in areas like Recruiting, Employee Management, Labour Relations, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Health & Safety, Compensation Administration, Absence and Time & Labour Administration, Talent Management processes and Learning Management.
  • Experience in originating new sales opportunities, progressing opportunities through the sales process, and through to closure/contract signing.
  • Ability to demonstrate presentation skills and story-telling.
  • Ability to manage and mentor the careers of several resources and serve as a people manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of HCM program delivery leadership experience.
  • At least 5 years leading Oracle HCM complex implementations.
  • Proven success managing multi-million-dollar programs ($5M–$50M) and working with global teams.
  • Ability to confidently engage, influence, and build trust with senior leaders.
  • Skilled at conveying complex technical solutions through clear, persuasive business narratives.
  • Experience in structuring, negotiating, and closing large-scale transformation deals.
  • Adept at motivating cross-functional teams and fostering a high-performance delivery culture.
  • Ability to align delivery with broader business outcomes and client transformation agendas.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Delivery Lead on Oracle HCM implementation projects, providing direction as the subject matter expert.
  • Lead project team members throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring quality of work and deadlines are met.
  • Work with the Cloud Implementation Project Manager to plan and schedule all functional and technical development activities to meet defined scope and milestones.
  • Identify and lead new business opportunities to grow our HCM practice.
  • Attract new business by creating thoughtful proposals and building strong Oracle client relationships.
  • Deliver complex solutions for large clients on Oracle technologies in a Delivery Executive / Delivery Lead capacity.
  • Work in a Global Delivery model leveraging onshore and offshore workforces.
  • Walk clients through digital transformations, help them find operational efficiency and new revenue streams (e.g., Journey to Oracle cloud, build Oracle roadmap).
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
  • Support business development opportunities to bring innovative technology solutions and ways of working to clients.
  • Lead Oracle HCM implementations (Recruiting, Employee Management, Labour Relations, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Health & Safety, Compensation Administration, Absence and Time & Labour Administration, Talent Management processes and Learning Management) ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality are met while enabling business transformation and value realization.
  • Establish governance models, lead Steering Committees, and maintain oversight of RAID logs, change control, and quality reviews.
  • Manage diverse teams across functional, technical, and change management workstreams.
  • Coach and mentor consultants to elevate delivery quality and client satisfaction.
  • Anticipate project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and act as the escalation point for client and delivery issues.
  • Motivate cross-functional teams and foster a high-performance delivery culture.
  • Align delivery with broader business outcomes and client transformation agendas.
