About The Position

Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USA Today Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking an Oracle GoldenGate Administrator to support our growing team. The ideal candidate will support the administration, sustainment, security, and continuous improvement of Oracle GoldenGate and related data-replication infrastructure for PeopleSoft HCM in a secure, on-premises federal environment. This role requires strong platform administration, troubleshooting, scripting, and automation skills, along with experience operating in highly secure networks and mission-critical enterprise environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
3+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems administration, database platform support, or related roles.
Oracle GoldenGate administration experience strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience supporting on-premises Oracle and Solaris/UNIX environments, including monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and operational support.
Strong scripting and automation skills for operational support.
Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, data replication, ETL/data movement, and batch/interface processing.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in secured federal or DoD environments preferred.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM architecture, interfaces, batch processing, and Oracle ecosystem data replication patterns.
Experience with Oracle GoldenGate components, including Extract and Replicat processes, trail management, monitoring, performance tuning, and production sustainment.
Knowledge of runbooks, SOPs, change management, backup and recovery, incident and problem management, and secure operational practices.
Ability to collaborate across application, data, database, integration, security, and operations teams supporting mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and sustain Oracle GoldenGate and related data replication infrastructure supporting PeopleSoft HCM and connected enterprise systems in a secure, on-premises environment.
Install, configure, patch, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate components, supporting servers, and Oracle-based platform dependencies across development, test, and production environments.
Support core Oracle GoldenGate administration functions, including: Extract and Replicate configuration, Trail file management, Parameter file maintenance, Checkpoint handling, Process monitoring, Platform access administration.
Develop and maintain shell scripts, automation utilities, runbooks, and SOPs to improve reliability, operational efficiency, and repeatability.
Monitor system health, replication status, lag, logs, interfaces, and capacity; investigate incidents and coordinate timely resolution.
Support change control processes, release readiness, audit activities, and environment promotions in compliance with security and operational requirements.
Partner with application, database, middleware, infrastructure, and security teams to maintain replication services, troubleshoot issues, and ensure stable operations.
Participate in system hardening, vulnerability remediation, contingency planning, backup and recovery, and sustainment activities in highly secured environments.
