Oracle Fusion Financials Analyst
About The Position
The Oracle Fusion Financials Analyst serves as a strategic partner to Accounting, Finance, and IT teams, supporting the implementation, configuration, solution design, and ongoing support of Oracle Fusion Financials. The role collaborates with IT groups and business users to define business requirements and manage configuration and maintenance of Oracle Finance Cloud modules. The analyst leads and participates in the full lifecycle of Oracle Fusion projects, translating business requirements into scalable solutions and providing functional and technical expertise across finance and procurement modules. The role also supports Finance teams during month-end close, resolves system issues, coordinates with Oracle product support, and helps prepare for quarterly releases through testing, training, and documentation. Domestic U.S. travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of Oracle Fusion projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Translate business requirements into effective, scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
- Provide functional and technical expertise across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, project accounting, and procurement modules.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and technical issues related to Oracle Fusion applications; initiate, coordinate, and manage escalations with Oracle product support for complex system issues.
- Support Finance teams during month-end close processes and provide ongoing operational support.
- Develop, maintain, and update end-user training materials, including documentation, videos, and related resources.
- Prepare test cases and scripts, and lead and guide teams through quarterly release testing to support smooth upgrades and minimize business disruption.
- Facilitate workshops and develop functional specifications for reports, extensions, integrations, and related system enhancements.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to user testing, IT planning, project activities, and implementation support.
- Coordinate directly with Oracle product support to submit, monitor, and resolve service requests.
