About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Hyperion and ODI professional with strong technical expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, Oracle Data Integrator, and enterprise data integrations. The consultant will design, develop, maintain, support, and enhance Oracle EPM applications and integrations. The role requires analytical, troubleshooting, SQL, metadata management, and stakeholder communication skills, along with experience delivering technical solutions, supporting production environments, and working directly with business users. The position covers end-to-end development, testing, deployment, production support, application migrations, release activities, and continuous improvement across Oracle EPM and ODI environments. The consultant will also support data quality, metadata management, integrations with enterprise systems, and the resolution of technical infrastructure, security, connectivity, and environment-related issues.

Requirements

Experience working as a technical consultant or team member on Oracle EPM and/or Oracle Data Integration projects.
Experience delivering technical solutions of moderate to high complexity.
Experience supporting production environments and resolving critical incidents.
Experience working directly with business users and stakeholders.
Experience with end-to-end development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM EPBCS and EPM FreeForm.
Hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning and Essbase.
Hands-on experience with Oracle EDMCS and Oracle Narrative Reporting.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integration, Data Exchange, and Data Management.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), FDMEE, and EPM load rules.
Hands-on experience with EPM Automate, EPM Agents, and MaxL scripting.
Hands-on experience with Essbase calculation scripts, Business Rules, and Groovy Rules.
Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server, and relational databases.
Experience with metadata management, hierarchy maintenance, data integration, and ETL processes.
Experience with shell scripting and batch scripting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements.
Strong SQL query development and query optimization skills.
Ability to troubleshoot complex data, metadata, calculation, and integration issues.

Responsibilities

Work with business stakeholders to analyze and document business requirements, processes, functional requirements, and business rules.
Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy solutions using Oracle EPM EPBCS, EPM FreeForm, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, and related technologies.
Create and maintain Planning forms, business rules, calculation scripts, task lists, dashboards, reports, Smart View templates, and other EPM artifacts.
Develop and maintain Essbase calculation scripts, member formulas, allocations, aggregations, and data load processes.
Develop and maintain EPM Automate, MaxL, shell, and batch scripts to automate operational and administrative activities.
Develop and maintain EPM integrations using Data Integration, Data Exchange, Data Management, EPM Agents, and other Oracle integration capabilities.
Configure and maintain EDMCS applications, viewpoints, hierarchies, subscriptions, validations, requests, and metadata integrations.
Support metadata management, including member creation, hierarchy maintenance, validation, and synchronization across source and target systems.
Troubleshoot application, calculation, data load, metadata, integration, and reporting issues.
Support production deployments, application migrations, release activities, and post-production validation.
Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement to improve stability, performance, and operational efficiency.
Establish and maintain data standards, naming conventions, consistent data definitions, and data quality controls.
Monitor and audit data quality for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability.
Assist with technical infrastructure, security, connectivity, and environment-related issues.
Design, develop, maintain, and support integrations using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
Develop and maintain ODI mappings, packages, scenarios, load plans, procedures, and schedules.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve ODI integration failures and performance issues.
Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, and routines.
Analyze data and metadata issues involving source systems, staging environments, and target applications.
Design and support integrations across ERP systems, EPM applications, databases, flat files, and other enterprise applications.
Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes.
Support integrations with downstream reporting and analytical applications, including Mainframe systems, SAP, Business Objects, FMIS, Essbase, PBCS/EPBCS, and other enterprise reporting platforms.
Use FDMEE, Data Integration, load rules, SQL routines, ODI, and related technologies to support enterprise data integration requirements.
Perform root cause analysis for data load, transformation, metadata, and integration issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
