About The Position

This role is for an Oracle EPM technical/functional resource responsible for coordinating efforts across EPM modules to ensure high-quality outcomes and optimize the user experience. The position involves customer support, including tracking incidents, diagnosis, replication, troubleshooting, testing, and resolution. It also includes streamlining processes, deploying automation, and maintaining systems to meet business needs. The analyst will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for financial and budgeting systems, collaborating with other technology teams and business leaders to ensure the performance of the Oracle EPM toolset. One position is available and will be filled at one of four job grade levels (I, II, III, or Senior) based on candidate qualifications, experience, and business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent combination of education and/or experience (required)
  • Eight + (8) years of progressive Oracle EPM applications support experience.
  • Senior level Oracle analyst, experience with EPM, ARCS, FCCS, EDMCS.
  • Accounting and Project Control experience.
  • Experience with ASO/BSO cube design, metadata management, data integrations, SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, Smart View development, Financial/Narrative reporting development, and Management Reporting in EPM.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements.
  • Ability to translate finance needs into technical Oracle EPM solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with Finance, Accounting, IT.
  • Flexible and adaptable on learning and understanding new technologies.
  • Familiarity with various software development methodologies.
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written with ability to explain complex issues in clear, concise, persuasive language.
  • Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong focus on customer service.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed; able to effectively prioritize and execute while under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively translate business requirements and maintain software programs according to specifications.
  • Perform full development lifecycle experience – design, build, test, deploy, support.
  • Develop and maintain business rules, calculation scripts, dashboards, web forms, task lists, navigation flows within Oracle EPM applications as needed.
  • Develop and maintain reports Oracle EPM Management Reports.
  • Develop and maintain integration into and out of Oracle EPM.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of user procedures and guidelines.
  • Provide support and guidance to other software developers.
  • Monitor and test scheduled Oracle EPM enhancements and monthly upgrades.
  • Adhere to and demonstrate compliance with appropriate electric utility industry regulatory requirements.
  • Attain knowledge and remain knowledgeable of development in regulations, laws, standards and best practices applicable to the functional area including, but not limited to, Standards of Conduct, Environmental, Employment Law, NERC Reliability Standards and Safety.
  • Must be familiar with, and comply with, all aspects of Corporate Policy C-54, Compliance.
