About The Position

The Oracle EBS Financial Systems Analyst will serve as a crucial liaison between the Accounting, Finance, and IT teams. The role involves supporting Oracle EBS Financial modules, ensuring seamless financial operations, and enhancing system performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle EBS or Oracle ERP systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience supporting Financial and Accounting functions.
• Ability to write and understand SQL queries.
• Experience troubleshooting Oracle EBS issues.
• Knowledge of Oracle Financial modules.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with Finance and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in a hybrid environment.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

• Oracle Project Accounting experience.
• Experience in the Government Contractor or Defense industry.
• Experience with SOX controlled environments.
• Experience in highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Tax, Billing, and Projects.
• Experience participating in software testing and system enhancement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between Accounting, Finance, and IT teams.
• Support Oracle EBS Financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Tax, Projects/Project Accounting, and Billing.
• Support month-end and period close activities.
• Troubleshoot Oracle system issues affecting financial operations.
• Investigate invoice and payment processing issues.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data analysis and issue resolution.
• Review business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with software developers on testing and system enhancements.
• Create, execute, and distribute financial system reports.
• Document processes and assist with system optimization efforts.
• Support the customized Oracle EBS environment.
