About The Position

Our software development team builds secure, end-to-end solutions with a strong emphasis on high-quality code. We’re seeking a talented Oracle Developer/Administrator well versed in Oracle APEX and PL/SQL development. In this hybrid role, the ideal candidate has a proven track record of solving complex technical problems and is eager to grow into broader responsibilities in database architecture and enterprise systems. As an Oracle Developer/Administrator in our newly formed solutions group, you will combine hands-on Oracle APEX and PL/SQL development with Oracle database administration support.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL and database development and administration
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 3-5 years of experience; OR associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Oracle APEX UI development, JavaScript, AJAX, RESTful APIs & foundational knowledge of Oracle database administration concepts
• Strong PL/SQL and SQL coding, including the ability to write & troubleshoot complex queries & stored procedures
• Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
• Clear & effective communicator with strong interpersonal relationship skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL & JavaScript.
• Develop database-driven solutions and RESTful API integrations.
• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Document software components to ensure long-term maintainability.
• Support database administration including monitoring, backup/recovery, patching, and performance tuning.
• Serve as backup to the Senior DBA when required.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
