About The Position
Oracle DBA remote but Occasional onsite to Pittsburgh, PA
Requirements
- Expertise in Oracle RAC and ASM administration
- Strong knowledge of Oracle 19c architecture and features, including Pluggable Databases (PDBs)
- Proficiency in Linux (RHEL) shell scripting
- Experience with RMAN (Recovery Manager) for backup and restore operations
- Strong performance tuning skills at both database and SQL query levels
- SQL and PL/SQL scripting for automation and troubleshooting
- Experience with patch management and applying PSU/CPU updates
- Familiarity with OEM, AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports for monitoring and diagnostics
- Experience with security hardening and compliance (encryption, auditing)
- Capacity planning and forecasting for database growth
